This is the time of year that will test your patients. Once a female ovulates the waiting game begins. It seems like an eternity before that Post Ovulation Shed. Not to mention the wait for eggs to hatch. I have a few females that I am waiting on. The one good thing about this time of year is the rat bill is down. Most of my females are refusing. It is there way of giving the wallet a break before hatchlings get here and doubles the food bill. I am just cleaning cages, feeding those who still want to eat, and checking for ovulations. Hope your year is going good. Trey

Bringing Up Temps!
We brought our temps back up to normal this week. We still have a few males that are still breeding a few females we are hoping will go. A few other females decided to ovulate this week. It is looking like it will be a good year. I have started updated the "Our Balls" page so check back often to see some new pictures of the collection. Thanks Trey

Everything is going great around here. I have a few females who are really starting to swell. It is starting to look good. My males have really started to slow down. I only have 5 2009 left for sale. Check them out in the "Show Room". I will also be adding a few older animals to the list during the weekend. Trey

Funny Email
A little girl walks into a pet shop and asks in the sweetest little lisp, "Excuthe me, mithter, do you have any wittle wabbits?"
And the shopkeeper bends way down and puts his hands on his knees so he's on her level, and asks, "Do you want a wittle white wabby or a wittle bwack wabby? Or maybe that cute wittle bwown wabby over there?"
She in turn puts her hands on her knees, leans forward and says in a quiet little voice, "I don't fink my pyfon weally cares."
Jami sent this to me in an email and I thought I might share it with everyone.
Everything is going good here! Breeding in full swing. I have a few females that are getting close. Some are even starting to refuse food. Thanks Trey

Breeding Season
Breeding season is in full swing. I am running the males through the females. I will give them a rest and a chance to eat once a week. Then they are right back to work. I sat down this week and made a list of all my females that are big enough to breed this year. I have 34 of them. It is looking like a big year for us. I should have a little bit of everything. I need to get "My Balls" page updated so you can see everything that I have added recently. Christmas is just around the corner. I hope you got all you shopping done because I haven't even started mine yet! LOL Trey

Show
Just wanted to thanks to everyone who made it out to the show. It was small but had some very nice animals. One of the cleanest shows I have been to!!! I met a lot of really nice people and had fun introducing a few new people to snakes. Jami came home with a pair of Crested Geckos. This is the first reptile she has gotten excited about. I have tried for the past few years to get her into keeping something and never could. But Mike got it done in one weekend. Just want to give one more last Thanks to Jeff Holloway for the awesome Kenyan Sand Boas I got this weekend. We stopped by his house Saturday night and he has a VERY NICE collection. Anything and everything Sand Boas. He also has the pieds and axanthics covered with the Ball Pythons. Go Big or Go Home. Thanks Trey

Dixie Reptile Show
We just got back from the Dixie Reptile Shoe. It was a slow show. There were a lot of nice animals for sale and on display. We had a great time Friday and Saturday night. We hung out with a group of people from Ball-Pythons.net. I guess I am going to vend the Georgia Reptile Expo on December 5 and 6. Breeding season is in full in swing. Our males are going strong. Looks like it will be a good year. Thanks Trey

FOR SHAUN!!!!!
Shaun (Proto Type Pythons) was bragging that he had blogged since I had last blogged. So I have to step up and blog a little more. I went down to Tim Lane's this past weekend and picked up a few new snakes. I got a pair of Caramel 66% Het Ghost, 2 66% Het Caramel Glow Females, a Spider het Caramel, and a Calico Female. I should be getting picks of them soon. I will post them up in my "Our Balls" section when I do. Thanks Trey

Breeding Season
I started to drop my temps on October 1. Even started to pair up a few snakes to see what would happen. My Axanthic male is locked up with his second female as I am typing this. My Albino male is also trying hard to get a lock on a het albino female right now. Both the tails are sticking straight up in the air. My Axanthic male has really surprised me last year he didn't want to start breeding till really late in the year. But this year he is the first male to get the job done!!! He will have his fair share of the females. His main lady for the year will be my Albino Het Snow, just to let you know he is Het Albino also. So I am hoping for a snow or two. It is starting out to be a great breeding season. If I could only sale a few of the hatchlings from this year I would be doing good. Thanks Trey
