| Saphira and the Super Stripes |
Greg, Lori, and Saphira came over yesterday. Greg brought some rats. He also wanted to check out the Super Stripes. His three year old daughter really liked them. Greg got a picture of her holding him.

We made it down to Savannah this past weekend to check out the two clutches. We ended up getting one Super Stripe Male, one Ivory Female, two Specter Females, and one Yellow Belly Female!!!! Tim even let me bring home the little Super Stripe Male. It has been a long two years waiting for the project to pay off, but it finally has. Here is a picture of the first clutch!
We also cut the second clutch on Friday night. We ended up with one Super Stripe, two Ivories, and a Specter.
 Thanks Trey |

| SUPER STRIPES |
Our first clutch of Super Stripe to Yellow Belly has finally hatched out. We got one Super Stripe, one Ivory, two Specters, and a Yellow Belly. I am super excited about this project. It has been two years in the making. My male Super Stripe is on a breeding loan with Tim Lane at Ball Room Pythons in Midway, GA. He called this morning with the good news. Jami and I are planning on driving down Friday to check them out. I will get some pictures and post them up when we get back. We are also expecting the second clutch of Super Stripe to Yellow Belly to be hatching while we are down there. Trey |

| Repticon |
This was the first Repticon Show that I have vended. It went really well and I met a lot of really nice people. It really surprises me that the younger generations are so into reptiles. I can't tell you how many teenagers that I talked to that knew a lot about reptiles. A lot of the sales came from families getting their first reptile. Jami and I enjoyed talking to everyone. We made enough sales to cover our expenses and then a little extra. It was mainly a fun experience, and I really enjoyed educating others about reptiles. I have the results from my next clutch. I breed the Axanthic to a Blonde female. I ended up producing some really nice Het Axanthic but I got killed on the sex odds. I got four males and one female. My luck has got to turn around one of these days. Jami and I are headed down to Savannah this weekend to check out the results from the first two clutches of Super Stripe to Yellow Bellies. I have my fingers crossed for a few little Ivories and Super Stripes. Hope your season is going good. Trey |

| Not Going my Way! |
The odds gods have not been good to me on my last few clutches. First, the Spider Het Axanthic X Het Axanthic clutch didn't produce any Axanthics. Then came the Black Pastel X Normal clutch that ended up being fathered by my CH Male or I just ended up with all normals. Then there's my Yellow Belly Het Ghost to Possible Het Ghost clutch. Out of six eggs, I ended up with only one Yellow Belly; not a single ghost in the whole clutch. But since my luck hasn't been so good, the female could still be het ghost. My Black Pastel/ Spider X Normal clutch consisted of six eggs, with four going bad at the beginning of incubation. I ended up getting one Spider and one Normal. The Normal died in the egg today. It was badly deformed and wouldn't have been able to live on its own. I decided to cut the Axanthic X Pastel clutch because today was day 54. I only got one Pastel Het Axantic out of six eggs. So my luck is really in the dumps. I am hoping something will change over the next two weeks before my next clutch is due. On a positive note all the hatchlings are doing well. Trey |

| It is the weekend! |
My Mom and her dog, Sally, came up to visit this weekend. She brought my camera so I can finally get some pictures of the hatchlings. I will post them up over the next few days. We went out to the Fernbank Museum and checked out the Gecko Exhibit. They had a really nice setup with about fifteen different species of geckos. They had a small exhibit with a video of Ron Tremper and his Leopard Geckos. I found a few new ones I would really like to add to my collection. My Yellow Belly Het Ghost to Possible Het Ghost has started to come out. It doesn't look like I hit on any ghost. But I did get a few Yellow Bellies. I have also cut the next clutch of Black Pastel/ Spider to Normal. It was only a two egg clutch and it looks like I hit on one Spider and one Normal. Things are rolling along quite well. I have started trying to get some of the first hatchlings to eat. I am trying to get them started on rats but I have a few I think are going to need to try mice. I will be getting a table at the July Repticon show. If you come out, stop by and see me. Thanks Trey |

| Good and Bad News |
I have the results from the Spider Het Axanthic to Het Axanthic clutch. Four Spiders 66% Het Axanthic and three 66% Het Axanthics. I got good odds with the co-dom portion but got killed with the recessives. Out of 7 eggs I got no Axanthics!!!! That hurt!!!! But on a positive note, my other Het Axanthic gave me a surprise four egg clutch. She stopped eating about two months ago and it was driving me crazy. I didn't think she was going to go so I was trying to pound her with food to get her ready for next year. I checked on her yesterday and she was wrapped around some eggs. I got four really big eggs. I breed the Axanthic Het Snow to her so I should get some Axanthics. I also got a clutch from the Pinstripe female. She gave me six good eggs. She was breed by my Axanthic Het Snow. Also my supposed Black Pastel clutch has come out of the egg. One of the eggs pipped last week so I cut the rest of the clutch. Out of six eggs I got six normals. That is when I remembered I accidentally placed my CH/ Dinker male in with the female and he locked up with her. The Black Pastel only locked up with her about ten times and the CH only once. So either the CH was the father or I got killed again with the odds. But on a positive note all the hatchlings are doing good. I even have some who are already eating. Trey |

| Trying to be Patient |
I ended up getting 2.2 Blonde Fires and 2.1 Blondes with my latest clutch. The Blonde is a really light colored normal that throws some awesome Fires. I got a male this year that is out of this world. I have also cut my Spider Axanthic clutch. I am not going to say what is in the clutch till they are out of the egg. I don't want to jinks myself. Also have a clutch of Black Pastels that are due to hatch on the 18th. I have decided to let them pip on there own. I done this pairing last year and got some really nice Black Pastels. Ended up with 2.1 Lesser Bees, 0.1 Spiders, and 1.0 Normals in my Lesser to Spider Clutch. My mom has my camera so it will be a little while before I can get any pictures. I will let you know when I put up some new pictures. I did attach one of the pictures I took and the Female Lesser Bee. I took it with the my point and shoot camera. I promise to get some better pictures. Trey

| Hatchlings |
My first two clutches are out of the egg. I ended up with 2.2 100% Het Axanthics that are showing some really nice blushings. I also ended up with 3.3 from the Captive Hatched to normals. My mom has my camera so it will be a few weeks before I can get some pictures of them. I also cut my next clutch. Lesser to Spider. This clutch is a breeding project with Aaron Palmer. We ended up with three Lesser Bees, a Spider and a normal. Not to bad on the odds with a five egg clutch and 1/4 odds. I also have one of my favorite clutches coming up. I breed my Spider Het Jolliff Axanthic to a 100% Het Jolliff Axanthic. They are due to hatch on the 19th. I have my fingers crossed. Axanthics are my favorite morph hands down. The Atlanta Repticon is July 11th. I am thinking about getting a table for the show. We will see how things go between now and then. Hope everyone is having a good season. Trey |

| Hatchling Season is here!!!!! |
Jami was wanting to cut some eggs. This past Friday was day 52 of my first clutch so I let Jami cut the first clutch of the year. They finally decided to stick there heads out on day 58. I breed my Axanthic Het Snow to a Genetic Banded female. There are some really banded animals in the egg. I also cut my second clutch of the year today. It is day 54 for that clutch. I breed my Captive Hatched Dinker to a normal female. I am hoping to get a few females that look just like dad. Jami also got her first clutch of Crested Gecko eggs. She has an adult pair of Harlequins. They gave us two eggs yesterday. So in 60 to 90 days there will be a few little cresties running around. I also wanted to let everyone know my Super Stripe male has finally gotten the job done. He has been spending time in Savannah with Tim Lane. So far we have 9 eggs Super Stripe to Yellow Belly and a few more females left to lay. Go Big or Go Home!!! Trey |

| It's Been A While |
Sorry for not updating the blog lately. Nothing has been going on. I have 10 clutches in the incubator and the first one to hatch is on Day 47. Hatchling season is just around the corner. It is driving me crazy trying to be patient. On another note I have about 10 to 15 Normal Females I will be letting go along with a few odd and end males. Most are proven breeders. Give me a call or email me if you are interested. I could do someone a really nice deal for local pickup. I am also trying to get a list together for a Hatchling/ For Sale mailing list. Shoot me an email and I can put you on the list. Hope everyone is having a good season. Trey |

| Reptile Show |
Alexander High School put on a reptile show yesterday afternoon. They took reptiles from the classrooms and set them up around the event with boards showing everything you need to know about the animals. They had everything from Hognose snakes to Bearded Dragons. I was lucky enough to be able to attend and bring a few of my animals to show off. I WANT TO GIVE A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO HELPED ME OUT!!!! From about 4:00 to 8:30 we had about 20-30 people around the people wanting to ask questions and hold the animals. The volunteers jumped right in and started helping from the get go. They made it enjoyable. Another big thanks goes out to Ryan Adams for putting on the show. I got to meet a lot of great people and I might have a few talked into getting a reptile as a pet. I will be going back next time for sure! Thanks Trey |

| More Eggs! |
Egg laying season is upon us!!! I got another clutch from Aaron Palmer's Lesser bred to my Spider female. She gave me 7 big, healthy eggs. Even though we are getting lots of eggs I still have a few females who are interested in breeding!!! I am still running the Axanthic, Spider, Black Pastel, and Fire males through a few females. Looks like I might have some really early clutches and a few really late ones. Hope your season is going good. Trey |

| Another Clutch!!! |
I got another clutch of 7 eggs yesterday. They are from the Fire breed to a blonde female!! I produced a blonde fire last year but it didn't survive. I also got 4 slugs from my Albino breed to a 100% Het Albino. That really sucks. I always look forward to seeing Albinos. But I still have a few more chances to see the white and yellow heads. My first clutch that I dropped went bad. They molded over and began to smell. That really sucks. I have raised that female up for three years and I screwed up her first clutch. We will just have to wait one more year. Trey |
